Work Group participants will be briefed on project goals and timeline, review the site sensitivity data compiled by Work Group members including the EPA, NH DES, VT DEC, and Nuka Research, and will identify 10 sites for GRS development.
Site Surveys
June 23-24, 2021
Select Work Group members conducted site surveys at 18 different locations to obtain additional information about each GRS site that informed the development of tactics, logistics, and other plan elements.
Tactics Sub-Group Meeting
August 18, 2021 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
The Tactics Sub-Group was comprised of select individuals from the project Work Group with direct experience and expertise in inland spill response, GRS development, and/or in-depth knowledge of the Connecticut River. The Sub-Group reviewed the draft GRS maps showing the tactics and strategies recommended by the site survey team. Changes to these initial tactics and strategies were made and the GRS will be updated prior to final review by the Work Group.
Final Work Group Meeting
November 10, 2021 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
This was the final meeting of the Connecticut River GRS Work Group. During this meeting, each draft GRS was presented for review and comment prior to finalization.
